Editing segments
Segments are a filtered subset of a list.

The editing window for a segment contains a list of filters:
- A filter consists of one of the properties assigned to the subscribers on your list (see “Importing and managing subscribers”), a comparison operator ("exact match", "contains", "does not contain", etc.) and a value.
- Combining filters: you can combine several filters and specify if you want to link them using the logical operators AND or OR.
For example, you can create a segment:
“Email address contains @epfl.ch AND “Language is not French”
Another example:
“Email address contains @epfl.ch” OR “Email address contains @unil.ch” OR “Email address contains @unige.fr” - Using the Copy button, you can add lines and, beginning with the second line, delete them:
- A table displayed beneath the filters shows you the segment's first five results.
