Campaigns

Campaigns

Campaigns are used to send out newsletters to a list of subscribers or to a segment of a list.

You can schedule a mailing in advance (e.g., to be sent the following Monday at 11am).

Statistiques d'envoi

After scheduling or sending out a newsletter, you can track its progress and view statistics, such as:

  • number of recipients
  • number and percentage of mail outs (progress of mailing)
  • number and percentage of errors (e.g., invalid email addresses)
  • number and percentage of recipients who opened the newsletter
  • number and percentage of recipients who unsubscribed from the list after the campaign was launched.

Export your campaigns

Export your campaigns

You can export your last sent campaigns as a list that you can easily embed in your website (EPFL.ch WordPress) or personal site.

When a user clicks on an item in the list, they will see the preview of the newsletter sent with the campaign.

To display a list of sent campaigns, simply copy-paste either of the two code fragments into your website.

  • For EPFL.ch WordPress pages, add a ShortCode block and copy-paste the first code widget below.
  • To embed the campaigns in any other website, where you can include JavaScript fragments, copy/paste the second (JavaScript) code block as an HTML block.

Export properties

  1. Include shared campaigns: by default, only your own campaigns (campaigns that you created yourself) will be exported, but if you're part of one more more teams of newsletter editors, and if other members of these teams have shared newsletters or campaigns within the team, you can choose to include the shared campaigns in the exported list.
  2. Filter campaigns by tag: if you have tagged your newsletters, you can decide to filtre the exported campaigns to those tagged with certain tags only. Simply click on the tags to activate / deactivate the filters. Note: the tag filters are additive: if you select multiple tags, the filer will be applied on campaigns tagged with EITHER of the selected tags.
If you've chosen to export shared campaigns, you can also filter on the tags that the owners of the shared campaigns have assigned on the corresponding newsletters.
  3. Limit the number of shown campaigns: You can limit the number of recent campaigns to display in the list, or leave the field blank to display all sent campaigns.

Once you've modified the properties of the export, apply these changes to update the export code blocks. The preview will also be updated to display the filtered list, exactly as it will be shown on your own website.
