Doctoral Teaching Award | 2026 Call for Nominations

Have you followed a doctoral course that truly inspired you? Have you had a teacher who made complex ideas clear, sparked engaging discussions, or supported your doctoral journey? Now is your chance to recognise them. The Doctoral School is pleased to announce the launch of the Doctoral Teaching Award, recognising excellence in teaching doctoral courses. The award will be presented at La Doctorale in November 2026. PhD candidates are invited to nominate up to three teachers who teach doctoral courses.

KeepLearning Course | Tackling the Job Market Successfully

An interactive workshop for PhD candidates and postdocs to support them in their career transition in industry. It will help you discover how the job market works, learn how to promote your value proposition and give you the tools to write effective applications for industry. The Swiss French Final of the competition "Ma thèse en 180 secondes (MT180)" will take place this year at EPFL with 14 PhD students from Higher Education Institutions, among which three winners of the EPFL Final Ali Mehdi Gadiri, Camille Lambert and Antoni Gralak. Their challenge? Present their research in just 3 minutes to a non-specialist audience, in French, effectively and in an engaging way, all with just a single slide.
