Launched last summer, the TTO newsletter has been well received and we would like to close the year by thanking you for your enthusiasm.

2021 has been a strong year for technology transfer in Switzerland - despite the pandemic - as Swiss startups have raised between CHF 2.3B and 3B in equity investments.

Among the various successes of EPFL startups and spin-offs, Sophia Genetics, Astrocast and Onward Medical went public in 2021.

Congratulations also to Lunaphore, Distalmotion, Kandou S.A, SOPHiA GENETICS and Flyability for making it into Switzerland’s most promising scale-ups in 2021 listing.

EPFL start-up School Rebound has developed a unique application to help children improve their handwriting in a fun and personalized way. Already available in Switzerland and France, it will soon be launched in Italy.
