Doctoral Employees Unit

The Vice Presidency for Human Development (VPH) has set up the Doctoral Employees Unit within its People Experience department, a team dedicated to supporting doctoral candidates and thesis directors on employment and workplace-related matters.

As a confidential and neutral resource, the team offers listening, guidance, and facilitation to help address challenges and foster healthy working relationships throughout the doctoral journey.

appointments
  • Prof. Camille Sophie Brès has been appointed Director of the doctoral program in Photonics (EDPO) for a second mandate from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2030. 
  • Prof. Frédéric Kaplan has been appointed Director of the doctoral program in Digital Humanities (EDDH) for a mandate from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2030.
  • Prof. Pierre Collin-Dufresne has been appointed director of the doctoral program in Finance (EDFI) for a mandate from 1 October 2026 to 30 September 2030.
  • Prof. Thomas Weber's mandate as Director of the doctoral program in Management of Technology (EDMT) has been extended until 31 January 2028.
