This conference will focus on the social, ethical and environmental dimensions of artificial intelligence.
The keynote lecture by Dr. Prof. Aimee van Wynsberghe entitled "Repairing AI for Environmental Justice" will be followed by a round‑table discussion with experts from EPFL and ETH Zurich.

Racial and Discriminatory Bias in Generative AI

Organised to mark the Action Week Against Racism, this roundtable will explore how generative AI systems, including large language models (LLM) and image-generation tools, increasingly shape representations of people, identities and social groups. This event is a collaboration between the Equal Opportunity Office (VPH-WINC-DEI) and the AI Center.
