Opening event of the Sustainability Days
This conference will focus on the social, ethical and environmental dimensions of artificial intelligence.
The keynote lecture by Dr. Prof. Aimee van Wynsberghe entitled "Repairing AI for Environmental Justice" will be followed by a round‑table discussion with experts from EPFL and ETH Zurich.

Sustainability Days
EPFL is organising its first Sustainability Days, with the theme: ‘Innovate and take action for a sustainable future’.

This event is open to the general public and will feature a variety of conferences, cafés scientifiques, guided visits, demonstrations and workshops, including some for younger visitors.

Racial and Discriminatory Bias in Generative AI


Organised to mark the Action Week Against Racism, this roundtable will explore how generative AI systems, including large language models (LLM) and image-generation tools, increasingly shape representations of people, identities and social groups.
