Pierre Collin-Dufresne has been appointed Program Director in EDFI for a second term running from 1 January 2024 to 31 December 2026.
Martin Rohrmeier has been appointed Program Director in EDDH for a third term running from 1 August 2023 to 31 July 2026.

Transversal Skills Courses | Creating & capturing value from innovative tech
20 - 24 November 2023 | 2 ECTS
In this hands-on course, you will learn how to identify and evaluate business opportunities stemming from an innovative technology, and how to set the ground for a successful entrepreneurial endeavor. You will work in teams and apply these practical tools on real inventions coming from your labs, to gain hands-on experience. The course is given by Dr Sharon Tal Itzkovitch from Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.
Regsitrations are open in IS-Academia. If the course is full, do not hesitate to send an e-mail to the teacher.
Please note that you will need to fill in a preface report and submit it by 15 November 2023.

EPFL PhD Excellence Program | Applications for the 2024 cohort are open
The PhD Excellence Program aims to prepare PhD candidates for their future, not only as first-class scientists, but also as engaged and active members of society and change makers of tomorrow. This targeted program is specially designed to provide the necessary leadership and transversal skills for successful transitions to high-level career paths following graduation. Event | Research and Doctoral Awards Ceremony
We are delighted to invite you to the Research and Doctoral Awards Ceremony that will be held on 23 November 2023 from 17:00h in the Forum Rolex. The aim of this ceremony is to confer the EPFL Research and Doctoral Awards to the laureates and to congratulate all doctoral candidates who have successfully completed their thesis between November 2022 and November 2023. This year is special as we are also celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Doctoral School. The programme for this event includes:
