Second call for QSE Postdoctoral Fellowships open!

The EPFL Center for Quantum Science and Engineering has launched its second call for QSE Postdoctoral Fellowships, with a submission deadline of 18 March 2025 (17:00 CET). QSE Postdoctoral Fellowships 2024

INSPIRE Quantum Master's Award

These awards aim to attract and empower excellent female students who will conduct their master’s project in the research areas represented at the QSE Center. The awardee will receive 8,000 CHF paid to them directly. External applicants are eligible for up to an additional 2,000 CHF for travel expenses. QSE Innovation Seed Grants

The QSE Innovation Seed Grant is a unique seed funding opportunity to encourage the brightest ideas for cutting-edge applications, technology transfer, and start-up creation in the field of quantum science and engineering, open to master’s students and researchers, including PhD students and post docs, in the initial phase of developing a cutting-edge application, product or service with a real societal impact. Rolling deadline

 
 
 

Quantum for Society Challenge

The World Economic Forum just opened the Quantum for Society Challenge on UpLink, the open innovation platform of the World Economic Forum, and is calling for start-ups with impactful solutions using quantum technology to tackle critical issues and build a sustainable future aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This is especially relevant for start-ups with quantum technology solutions to tackle critical needs in climate, materials and manufacturing, healthcare, agriculture, food systems, orfreshwater systems, to submit their solution before 8 January 2025.

 
 
 

Pre-announcement of an SNSF joint call with South Korea for quantum science

The SNSF and the National Research Foundation of Korea (NRF) are launching another call for Joint Research Projects at the beginning of January 2025, this time in the quantum domain (including quantum ethics).
