Call for Proposals: Educational Quantum Equipment funding

This call aims to strengthen quantum education at EPFL by supporting the purchase of specific equipment to further develop teaching activities (incl. master thesis and semester projects) and practical lab sessions (TPs) aligned with the quantum curriculum. The indicative maximum grant per proposal is 25 kCHF.

INSPIRE Quantum Master's Award

These awards aim to attract and empower excellent female students who will conduct their master’s project at EPFL in the research areas represented at the QSE Center. The awardee will receive 8,000 CHF paid to them directly. External applicants are eligible for up to an additional 2,000 CHF for travel expenses. BRIDGE Quantum Call 2025

The BRIDGE Quantum Call 2025 aims at supporting (early) innovation in the fields of quantum technologies. It targets experienced researchers in Switzerland who, together with partners, have the primary goal of transforming scientific achievements into implementable practical applications. A total maximum budget of 20 million francs is available to fund projects and is provided in equal parts by the SNSF and Innosuisse. In June 2025, the Cyber Alp Retreat was organized in Davos by the Swiss Cyber Defence Campus. The event offered many tracks focusing on cyber data technologies, aerospace and transport security, generative AI, and technology monitoring. Researchers and industry experts shared their latest insights from the disruptive impact of quantum computing to the strategic use of AI in foresight, roadmapping, and national security policy.
